Company Benefits

At Harco our regular full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. In addition to the benefits below, Harco offers a number of incentives and rewards to our dedicated team of employees.

Benefits include:

  1. Twelve holidays celebrated by Harco Laboratories, Inc.

    New Year's Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving Day, Day Before Christmas, Christmas Day, Floating Holiday.

  2. Vacation

    Vacation is granted based on seniority level beginning with 72 hours of vacation following the first year of employment with a maximum of 26 days of vacation.

  3. Health Benefits
    Full-time new hire employees working 32 hours or more per week become eligible for health benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Currently, employees are offered insurance through Aetna. Employees pay 20% of the premium via payroll deduction.

    Dental Insurance is through Aetna and is paid in full by the company.

    Life Insurance, STD, LTD and AD&D levels depend upon the position within the company. All policies for active full-time employees are paid in full by the company.

  4. 125 Plan
    Employees may have pre-tax earnings deducted from their paycheck and put into a Medical and/or Dependant Care reimbursement account(s).
  5. Pension
    Employees are enrolled into the Pension Plan on their seniority date following one (1) year of service. 100% vested after 3 years of service. Company contributions only. Employees receive personal statements of account balance annually. Enrollment is in April or October following 1 year of service.
  6. 401(k)
    Employee contributions only. Eligible to enroll during any open enrollment period following completion of 6 months of service and 1000 hours worked. Also, employee must be 21 years of age or older. Open enrollment is during April and October. Rollovers from other qualified plans are permitted prior to enrollment.
  7. Credit Union
    United Shoreline Credit Union. Available through payroll deduction
  8. Direct Deposit
    Employees may have their paycheck electronically deposited directly into their checking and/or savings accounts and/or credit union accounts.
  9. Employee Assistance Program
    EAP- Administered by the Lexington Group. A free counseling service available to employees and members of their household.
